CVS Pharmacy is stepping up its efforts to get health, beauty and wellness products to customers’ doorsteps as COVID-19 lingers.

CVS Health announced a partnership with DoorDash to expand its same-day home delivery offerings for health, beauty and wellness essentials.

“We are committed to providing our customers with convenient delivery methods that suit their lifestyle,” said George Coleman, CVS Health senior vice president of merchandising. “This partnership allows customers to get the non-prescription daily essentials they need while continuing to practice social distancing.”

DoorDash is currently available in Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and New York City, and will continue to expand in the Bronx, Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Boston metro areas, with a national launch expected in July.

This service is in addition to CVS’ nationwide partnerships for same-day delivery of non-prescription items with Instacart and Shipt.

CVS has waived fees for prescription delivery via USPS through June 30, allowing customers to have prescriptions and essential products sent to their house for free while they are at home practicing social distancing.
