The 2020 National Community Pharmacists Association Annual Convention is going online amid the COVID-19 pandemic. NCPA announced that its conference is being converted to a virtual meeting, to be held Oct. 18-19, 2020.

"We would love to see attendees in person, but the recent increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the country, including in Tennessee, has made travel difficult for members and conference attendees. NCPA won’t let that stop us from putting on a great Annual Convention that you can attend from the convenience of your home.” NCPA said.

The innovative, business-focused programs that attendees have come to expect from NCPA will be available exclusively online in a live and virtual format, including programs focused on answering hard-hitting questions on getting paid for the care pharmacists provide, said NCPA.

NCPA will employ a state-of-the-art virtual exhibitor platform to help conference attendees find new business tools and opportunities for their pharmacy.

Registration for the online event opens Aug. 28. For those who had already registered for the live meeting, there are options for refunding the registration fee. NCPA will be sending information via email.
