AAM appoints new director of policy

The Association for Accessible Medicines is welcoming a new executive.

Monét Stanford is joining the organization as director of the policy department. She will collaborate with leadership to identify and respond to key policy issues affecting AAM members.

Her role also includes developing and managing research opportunities, writing testimony, public comments, policy papers and other materials, and working with the communications team on content that advances the strategic goals and mission of the association.

Prior to joining AAM, she managed government relations and regulatory affairs for Kaiser Permanente. She also served as a policy development specialist at Centene, supporting the formulary placement of specialty medicines.
