Alembic intros generic Timoptic-XE ophthalmic gel-forming solution

Alembic has launched timolol maleate ophthalmic gel forming solution in dosage strengths of 0.25% and 0.5% in 5mL bottles.

The product is the generic of Timoptic-XE ophthalmic gel forming solution. 

It is indicated for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma.
