Alembic launches generic Zithromax

Patients with certain types of bacterial infections have a new generic treatment available. Alembic is offering azithromycin tablets.

The product is the generic of Zithromax tablets.

Azithromycin tablets are a macrolide antibacterial drug indicated for mild to moderate infections caused by designated, susceptible bacteria.

Alembic’s azithromycin tablets are available in dosage strengths of 250 mg and 500 mg.

The product comes in 30-count bottles.
