Alembic unveils 2 generic medications

Alembic is rolling out two generic products.

Alembic is offering Chlordiazepoxide Hydrochloride and Clidinium Bromide Capsules, 5 mg/2.5 mg, which is the generic of Bausch Health’s Librax.

The medication is indicated to control emotional and somatic factors in gastrointestinal disorders.

Alembic’s Chlordiazepoxide Hydrochloride and Clidinium Bromide Capsules, 5 mg/2.5 mg are offered in 100-ct. bottles.

Alembic rolls out generic Corgard

Alembic also is introducing Acyclovir 5% Topical Cream, which is the generic of Bausch's Zovirax Cream. 

Acyclovir 5% Topical Cream is a herpes simplex virus deoxynucleoside analogue DNA polymerase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of recurrent herpes labialis (cold sores) in immunocompetent adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.

Alembic will offer Acyclovir 5% Topical Cream in 5 g tubes.
