American Greetings, Tim McGraw emphasize staying connected ahead of Mother’s Day
American Greetings and musician Tim McGraw are joining forces to share one very important message ahead of Mother’s Day.
Together, the two are reminding the public about the importance of staying connected with the #stayconnected hashtag, as well as spotlighting McGraw’s newest song, “I Called Mama,” with an e-card.
The digital card, designed by American Greetings, will be available for a free download for a limited time via the company’s website.
“Mamas deserve to be recognized and celebrated,” McGraw said. “My mom has nurtured me and given me love, strength and encouragement. She is a light and I love her so much.”
Through its #stayconnected movement, the Cleveland-based company launched a series of free daily postcards, as well as downloadable games.
“We planned our Mother's Day campaign earlier in the year to recognize all the moms out there who show up each day and do one of the world's toughest jobs,” Alex Ho, the chief marketing officer at American Greetings said. “But since March, many moms have now taken on even more roles, like at-home schoolteacher, or helping on the front lines of this pandemic. Connecting with all of the moms in our lives couldn't be more important than now.”
Mother’s Day cards from American Greetings will be available for purchase in-store and online, giving consumers the option to shop in whatever way makes them comfortable, the company said.
