Amring is set to change its name to Nordic Pharma.

In a note to customers, Philip Gioia, president and Thomas Sammler, vice president of commercial operations, said, “Following the change in the ownership of our company from Sever Life Sciences, B.V. to Nordic Group, B.V. on June 1, 2023, the change in the corporate name provides for better alignment strategically with our parent company headquartered in the Netherlands and its subsidiaries worldwide. Together, the companies look to expand the global footprint in Eye Care, Rheumatology, Woman’s Health and Critical Care for branded products as well as strengthening our generic product business in the United States.”

It is understood that there may be some contract and other paperwork that may need to be done, but as of today and after March 1, our day-today business relationship remains the same. These are exciting times for Amring, with the recent acquisition of Visant Medical, the forthcoming launch of Lacrifill canalicular gel and this new alignment with Nordic Group and its subsidiaries, Amring is poised to grow and expand with you as a key partner today and in the future,” the executives said.
