ANI receives FDA OK for generic Colestid
Colestipol hydrochloride tablets are used to treat high cholesterol.
The Food and Drug Administration has given ANI Pharmaceuticals the green light for colestipol hydrochloride tablets, 1 g, which are the generic of Pfizer’s Colestid.
Generic Colestid is used to treat the symptoms of hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol).

Colestipol hydrochloride tablets have a market value of approximately $81.3 million, according to IQVIA.
