Audien Hearing won the Drug Store News Buyers Choice Award for its Atom 2 hearing device during ECRM’s Home Health Care session held in Henderson, Nevada, this month. In addition, Nonagon was a finalist for its Nonagon Care Kit.
The products were selected from dozens of entries submitted by participating suppliers. Buyers could evaluate samples of each entry and cast their votes based on product packaging and innovation.
“Home health care products are increasingly growing in their capabilities and levels of sophistication,” said Michael Castillo, SVP of Pharmacy/Medical Markets for ECRM. “The two Buyers Choice Award winners are great examples of how medical-grade solutions are becoming more accessible and affordable for consumers.”
Audien Hearing is on a mission to make hearing accessible to everyone. With more than 400,000 customers, the brand enables people to get the hearing solutions they deserve at a price they can afford. In addition, it continues to develop new products, such as soon-to-be-launched programmable OTC hearing devices that feature built-in fall detection.

The Audien Atom 2 is the successor to Audien's Atom. One of its most noticeable upgrades is the reduced size, with the Atom 2 being 28% smaller than the Atom. The improved, sleek design makes the device nearly invisible when worn and provides users with a discreet and comfortable experience. Equipped with four different hearing modes, the Atom 2 caters to a broad range of auditory needs, ensuring a personalized experience for every user.
Additionally, a key highlight of the Atom 2 is the new A2 sound chip, which significantly enhances audio clarity and quality, creating a more natural and immersive auditory experience, according to the company. The Atom 2 also features wireless charging, which makes it quick and easy to use anywhere.
