Aurobindo gets FDA green light for generic ProAmatine

Patients seeking treatment for symptomatic orthostatic hypotension will soon have a new generic product to treat their condition.

The Food and Drug Administration has cleared Aurobindo’s midodrine hydrochloride tablets in dosage strengths of 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg.

Aurobindo’s product is the generic of Takeda’s ProAmatine tablets.
