Bartell Drugs recognized as Small Business Hero
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Daymond John, founder, president and CEO of FUBU and “Shark Tank,” investor has launched a new initiative dubbed Small Business Hero.
John's initiative is a weekly social media feature that highlights businesses that are going above and beyond to support their communities in difficult times.
“The first #SmallBusinessHero is Bartell Drugs, the nation’s oldest family-owned pharmacy for 130 years. They’re based out of Seattle, which we all know was one of the first hotspots for COVID-19,” John said.
In recognizing Bartell Drugs, John noted Bartell’s outreach has included a supply drive for local seniors, donations to local food banks and its annual teddy bear donation drive.
“Thank you Bartell’s for being an example of how we all can do our parts to come together during tough times,” said John.
