BJ’s Charitable Foundation is partnering with children’s hospitals in communities throughout the East Coast, Midwest and South to support toy drives, deliver gifts and provide funds for essential needs.

“At BJ’s, we are driven by a powerful purpose: taking care of the families who depend on us,” said Bob Eddy, chairman and CEO. “This means we have a deep commitment to making a positive difference in the communities where we live and work. This holiday season, we’re proud to live our purpose by helping patients and families of children’s hospitals enjoy the holiday season.”

Nemours Children’s Health (Orlando and Jacksonville, Fla.): Through donations of toys and funds, BJ’s is supporting Holidays with Nemours Children’s Health, supporting the Elf Workshop event Dec. 19-20 in Orlando where families with children at the hospital can easily pick out gifts without having to leave the campus. Families that visit Nemours outpatient clinic in Jacksonville on Dec.19 also will receive special holiday gifts. BJ’s team members will be on hand to distribute toys to families at both events.

Children’s Hospital of Michigan (Detroit, Mich.): BJ’s also is helping the Snowpile holiday program, which makes it easy for families at the hospital to “shop” for gifts from their children’s wish lists right onsite. BJ’s will donate more than 1,000 Squishmallows – one of the year’s most requested toys – along with refreshments for event staff and volunteers.

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt (Nashville, Tenn.): BJ’s Charitable Foundation is proudly contributing to the Jingle Toy Drive and Champs Holiday House gifting event. Both initiatives ensure holiday cheer is enjoyed by all this season.

NYC Health + Hospitals Police at Queens General Hospital (Queens, N.Y.): BJ’s will support the Toy Giveaway at Queens General Hospital on Dec.17 by donating gift cards. The Giveaway, open to both pediatric patients and the broader community, aims to spread joy and hope to children in need while creating lasting memories.

UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center (Worcester, Mass.), Milford Regional Medical Center (Milford, Mass.) and Boston Children’s Hospital (Boston, Mass.): BJ’s also is helping to fulfill key needs of patients and families through donations of funds and gift cards.

“We’re honored to have BJ’s work alongside us this year to help make the holidays special for our patients and their families,” said James Henley, associate vice president, enterprise corporate philanthropy, Nemours Children’s Health. “We have the shared goal of providing health and wellness for our community, and their contributions this holiday season are truly meaningful.”

BJ’s holiday giving campaign is part of ongoing efforts by the retailer's Charitable Foundation to provide essential needs to families in the local communities where BJ’s members and team members live and work. Through local and national non-profit partnerships, the foundation focuses on three main pillars: hunger relief, education and health and wellness.
