BJ’s Wholesale Club designates shopping hour for first responders

4/21/2020

BJ’s Wholesale Club is showing its appreciation for first responders and healthcare workers.

All of the Westborough, Mass.-based retailer’s locations now have an Appreciation Hour, which runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sundays.

During this hour, first responders and healthcare workers can shop at any of the club retailers locations without having a membership.

“We are incredibly grateful for everything that our first responders and healthcare workers are doing to keep our communities safe and healthy,” Lee Delaney, president and CEO of BJ’s Wholesale Club, said. “We’re proud to offer a designated shopping hour to first responders and healthcare workers as a small way to say thank you for their hard work and dedication.”

In addition, the company also is offering a free, four-month Inner Circle membership to all first responders and healthcare workers.

To sign up for a complimentary membership, visit the member services area of any BJ’s Wholesale Club.
