BJ’s Wholesale Club sets opening date for Pensacola, Fla. club

Those awaiting the opening of a new BJ’s Wholesale Club in Pensacola, Fl., will not have to wait much longer.

The retailer announced that its newest club will open its doors on March 6, and will hold grand opening celebrations from its opening date until March 8.

“At BJ’s, we help families save on everything they need, from fresh food and groceries to the latest electronics and apparel,” Tom Condon, general manager for BJ’s Wholesale Club in Pensacola, said. “We’re looking forward to opening our doors in March so that Pensacola shoppers can enjoy the convenience and value of a BJ’s membership.”

Opening day celebrations will include such activities as balloon animals, face painting, appearances from brand mascots and characters, and Ryan Preece’s No. 37 Scott Brand Chevrolet NASCAR Cup show series car on March 7, the company said.  

Located at 7005 N Davis Hwy, the new club also is set to feature a BJ’s Gas onsite and Snack Shop.
