Camber debuts glycerin liquid, syrup line

Camber has added glycerin liquid and three syrups to its portfolio — simple syrup, cherry syrup and SoSweeet syrup.

Glycerin liquid is a soothing and moisturizing agent in creams and lotions. It also is used in certain oral pharmaceuticals for sweetening, solvent and preservative properties and in glycerin suppositories.

Simple syrup is a vehicle sweetening agent or base for medicated syrups. Cherry syrup is a tasty vehicle to be used for cough syrup, tonics, etc. where palatability is desired. SoSweet is a flavored syrup-based vehicle formulated to assist a compounding pharmacist in the preparation of oral extemporaneous delivery systems.

Glycerin liquid and syrups are available in 16-fl-oz./473-ml bottles.
