Camber intros generic Seroquel

Camber is launching quetiapine tablets, which is a generic of Seroquel.

Camber noted that approximately 3.2 million Americans are affected by schizophrenia, while 5.7 million struggle with bipolar disorders, and that generic Seroquel provides patients with more affordable, high-quality treatment options.

"This addition supports our ongoing commitment to reducing drug shortages and improving access to essential medications," the company said.

Quetiapine tablets are an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia; bipolar 1 disorder, manic episodes; and bipolar disorder, depressive episodes.

Quetiapine tablets are available in 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg in 100 count, 300 mg in 60 and 100 count and 400 mg, in 100 and 500 count.
