Cascade Pure Essentials features a simplified formula

Shoppers these days are looking for a bit more transparency when it comes to what’s inside the products that they’re buying.

That is why Cascade, which is part of Procter & Gamble’s portfolio of brands, has decided to ease some of the worries its consumers have in mind by unveiling its new Pure Essentials dishwashing product.

Created with a simplified formula, the product is free of phosphates and chlorine bleach, and it’s the brand’s only dye-free liquid detergent, the Cincinnati-based company said.

“The decisions consumers make at the shelf impact not only themselves but their entire family,” Kristine Decker, brand director, North America dish care at Procter & Gamble, said. "We are proud that with new Cascade Pure Essentials, we are providing folks not only with an offering that they can feel good about but also with an item that provides them with a reliable clean so they can spend less time worrying about their dishes and more time focusing on the pure essentials in their life – like spending quality time with the ones that matter most."

Containing the same level of clean found in Cascade’s ActionPac, Pure Essentials is able to clean baked-on foods, allows users to skip pre-washing in the sink, and comes in the lemon essence and orange blossom scents.

Cascade Pure Essentials can be found at grocery, retail, home improvement, mass merchandise stores and online. Pricing is at the sole discretion of the retailer.
