CHPA adds 2 board members

The Consumer Healthcare Products Association is growing the ranks of its board of directors. At its recent virtual November meeting, the CHPA board added Tim Grannan, president of Blistex, and Don Kerrigan, president of North America for Nature’s Bounty. Kerrigan also was elected to join the board’s executive committee.

“CHPA is delighted to welcome Tim and Don to its board of directors,” said Scott Melville, CHPA president and CEO. “CHPA’s expanded scope includes all three categories of personal healthcare – over-the-counter medicines, dietary supplements, and consumer medical devices – and these board appointments reflect the broad spectrum of companies we represent.”

CHPA said that Paul Gamma, Procter & Gamble’s president of personal health care, would continue in his role as board chair until the organization’s annual Executive Conference, slated for March 21 to 23, 2021.

“As Americans increasingly prioritize self-care for their health and wellness, the CHPA board plays an essential role in establishing our industry’s priorities and guiding the work of the association,” continued Melville. “We are fortunate to have industry executives like Don, Tim, and Paul volunteer to share their expertise and further elevate the governance of our association as well as the role of consumer healthcare in America.”

CHPA also added two members to the board of the CHPA Educational Foundatin — Jason Milligan, GSK Consumer Health’s marketing director for oral care, and Daniella Foster, vice president and global head of public affairs and sustainability for consumer health at Bayer Consumer Health.
