Dollar General opens Wyoming store
Dollar General has expanded its national presence to 45 states with its latest store opening in Wyoming.
The Goodlettsville, Tenn.-based retailer opened its doors in Pine Bluffs, Wyo.
“Today, we are excited to welcome Pine Bluffs, Wyoming to the communities we have the privilege to serve every day with value and convenience,” Todd Vasos, Dollar General’s CEO, said. “We believe the addition of each new Dollar General store represents positive economic impact through the creation of new career opportunities, the ability for customers to save money on everyday needs and grants provided by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation. As we look to grow our presence in the Equality State, we also look forward to being a good business partner and welcoming new Wyomingite employees to the Dollar General family.”
Grand opening celebrations began with the first 100 customers receiving complimentary Dollar General gift cards and tote bags with product samples.
As part of its “Serving Others” mission, the new location aims to provide consumers with quality products, while also strengthening communities via economic development and sustainable business practices, the company said.
The retailer will be opening a new store in Washington State this spring.
