Dr. Reddy’s, Senores Pharmaceuticals launch generic Stromectol
Generic Stromectol is an antiparasitic medicine used to treat certain infections.
Dr. Reddy’s and Senores Pharmaceuticals are offering ivermectin tablets, 3 mg, which is the generic of Merck Sharp and Dohme’s Stromectol.
Dr. Reddy’s will market the product.
“We are pleased to advance our growth with the launch of a limited-competition product. With our continuous focus on niche opportunities, we are proud to be the second generic to receive approval for this product,” said Swapnil Shah, managing director of Senores Pharmaceuticals.

Ivermectin tablets, 3 mg brand and generic products had a market value of roughly $20 million for the 12 months ending in September 2024, per IQVIA.
