Accreditation organization The Compliance Team currently is celebrating its 25th year in business. At NACDS Total Store Expo, The Compliance Team founder and CEO Sandra Canally recently sat down with Drug Store News to discuss how the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services-approved program has achieved its staying power and what makes its accreditation programs unique.
“We don’t offer just the traditional acc programs,” Canally said. What we offer are futuristic programs, innovative programs that bring primary care and pharmacy together. We’re taking the pharmacy to where they need to be. We offer things like patient-centered pharmacy home, telepharmacy, all of the things that really make a difference with the individual retailer to improve their business.”
