Exsens adds Intime Balance intimate cleansing gel

Exsens, a France-based sexual wellness and body care company, is expanding its product lineup. The brand has unveiled Intime Balance, an aloe vera-based intimate cleansing gel, as part of its Intimate Care line. 

Intime Balance offers a pH-balanced, soap-free experience in a travel-ready tube. It joins Exsens’ Intime Fresh foaming cleanser and is able to support intimate hygiene by washing away odor-causing bacteria without using soap, which can cause burning and irritation. Intime Balance is gentle enough for daily use, the company said, and is 97% natural with 10% certified organic aloe vera. Both cleaners are free of parabens and sulfates while also being cruelty free and certified vegan. 

"Intimate hygiene is important to help maintain a healthy pH but also to remind us that our privates need care and attention as well,” said Rebecca Pinette-Dorin, Exsens' North American brand manager. “For the longest time, all of the available cleansers were too harsh, killing off delicate vaginal flora along with odor-causing bacteria, and frankly doing more harm than good. New options were needed. Since its launch, Intime Fresh has become a daily part of my self-care routine, and now I use Intime Balance whenever I’m travelling or at the gym.”

The full Exsens product line includes various sexual wellness and personal care products — including cosmetics, massage oils and FDA-cleared personal lubricants — all of which are certified by European certification organization Eve Vegan. Many ingredients also are certified by Cosmebio and Eocert, two respected organic certification organizations in Europe.
