Glenmark gets FDA nod for generic Cleocin T Gel

Patients needing an antibiotic for a wide variety of bacterial infections will soon have a new generic treatment.  

The Food and Drug Administration has given its blessing to Glenmark for clindamycin phosphate gel, 1%.

The product is the generic of Pharmacia & Upjohn’s Cleocin T Gel.

The Cleocin T Gel had a market value of approximately $73.8 million for the 12 months ended December 2020, according to IQVIA.
