Glenmark obtains FDA OK for generic Combigan
Generic Combigan is used for the reduction of intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma who require additional IOP-lowering therapy.
Glenmark has received the Food and Drug Administration’s permission for brimonidine tartrate and timolol maleate ophthalmic solution, 0.2%|0.5%, which is the generic of AbbVie’s Combigan.
The generic product will be distributed in the U.S. by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, USA.
The medication is used for the reduction of high eye pressure, also called intraocular pressure, in patients with glaucoma who require additional IOP-lowering therapy.
