H-E-B expands presence into West Texas


H-E-B opened the doors to a brand new store in Lubbock, Texas, located at 4405 114 St.

Featuring various modern amenities, the supermarket offers consumers a Sporting Zone shop with Texas Tech and local high school apparel and accessories, a True Texas BBQ, and a fuel station with a car wash.

“This is the highlight of my career with H-E-B, and I’m honored to serve this dynamic community I proudly call home,” top store leader Garrett Stauder, an 11-year H-E-B partner and Texas Tech graduate, said. “Along with our partners, we are excited to provide the Lubbock community the best H-E-B has to offer, serving the area, both in our world-class stores and our passionate community service.”

Additional store offerings include access to the retailer’s curbside and home delivery services, a pharmacy with two-lane drive-thru service, as well as a dietitian, a department with chef-inspired meals prepared in store, a seafood department, a meat market, a large selection of beer and wine, a deli department with an expanded cheese selection, live demonstrations with sampling, a bakery, a health-and-wellness department, a backyard with outdoor essentials, and a Blooms floral department.

H-E-B is donating $50,000 to the Ted Phea Boys and Girls Club and giving a $25,000 gift to the United Way of Lubbock to commemorate the store’s grand opening.

H-E-B Lubbock is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight.
