Taking place from Sept. 29 to 30 in Waukesha, Wis., the event was originally scheduled in 2020 to mark the company’s 40th year in business but had to be pushed back into 2021.

HRG also hosted their Growth Summit at The Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee, which included a presentation from Dawn Vogelsang, president and majority owner of HRG, followed by a keynote speech from Jerry Jendusa, co-founder and partner at STUCK.

Dave Wendland, vice president strategic relations and member of the HRG owner group, and Julie Bonnell, vice president of operations and member of the HRG owner group, led a workshop that had attendees forming groups to work together to come up with ways to approach various aspects of the supply chain. Wendland then moderated a panel discussion about multiple topics related to leadership, innovation and motivation among others.

“We were so glad to finally host this event and see everyone in person to share ideas, make connections and celebrate their contributions in helping HRG grow and continue to thrive. It was very meaningful for us to be able to award our partners and honor Dave Hamacher. I also am proud we supported several local businesses who offered their products, services, or talents to help make the events special,” Vogelsang said.
