Hy-Vee offering COVID-19 booster vaccine to eligible individuals
Hy-Vee is offering COVID-19 vaccine booster doses to those ages 18 years old and older at all of its pharmacy locations across its eight-state region.
The retailer will be offering Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Janssen boosters, and is following the Food and Drug Administration and Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendation of booster doses for Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccine recipients age 18 years old and older at least six months after their second vaccine dose.

The booster for Janssen vaccine recipients is recommended to those age 18 years old and older at least two months after their first dose.
Vaccine boosters will be provided free to all eligible individuals regardless of insurance, the company said.
