The Independent Pharmacy Cooperative has a new agreement with Vials.com that will provide its members with access to a fresh line of prescription-packaging products and services including free custom logo imprinting on caps.

Additional member benefits include free same-day shipping on orders of four or more cases and no order minimum. The exclusive savings provided by this contract with Vials.com provides members of IPC with a new advantage in an industry where margins continue to shrink.

“Our contract with Vials.com creates another avenue for our membership to succeed in a competitive market and gives members access to an entire line of high-quality prescription-packaging products,” said IPC vice president of purchasing and contracts Dean Slaugenhoup.

“We are excited to partner with IPC to provide prescription packaging to its members. We take pride in working with independent pharmacies and look forward to providing options to help them find success in today's tough marketplace,” said Vials.com vice president of sales Jason O'Brien.

IPC also announced the renewal of its partnership with Kodak Moments, a division of Kodak Alaris. This newest contract with the consumer printing business of Kodak Alaris extends through the next three years.

In working with Kodak Moments, IPC has been able to offer independent pharmacy owners a significant value. Continuing this contract for an additional three years ensures that IPC members who purchase products like the Kodak Moments M1 Order Station will be backed with support from both IPC and Kodak Moments.

Additionally, IPC members will continue to receive competitive pricing on supplies, as well as access to new equipment launches. “We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with IPC and provide their members with the highest quality of photo printing solutions to create additional revenue streams and business success,” said regional sales director, US&C Kodak Moments, James Berardicurti. Through this contract IPC members have access to high-end photo order stations, both the M1 and G20. Consumers can connect wirelessly by smartphones, USB flash drives, or memory cards to create prints and photo products in minutes.

“We are excited to continue our work with Kodak Moments that has lasted for more than a decade to the benefit of our membership,” said Slaugenhoup.
