Kroger invests in aseptic state-of-the-art milk line in Ohio
As part of Kroger's large scale efforts to deliver long shelf life, high protein drinks, and nondairy and dairy products through modern technology, the retailer is embarking on a 35,000-sq.-ft. expansion at Tamarack Farms Dairy in Ohio.
The expansion will support the implementation of an aseptic state-of-the-art milk line capable of manufacturing products such as half and half, heavy whipping cream, coffee creamers and Carbmaster milk beverage. The new line will allow the facility to support over 150 jobs.

Tamarack Farms Dairy, a 20-acre state-of-the-art site, is the largest fluid dairy product producer in the state. The facility serves approximately 160 stores in Ohio and West Virginia, and provides products for Kroger's e-commerce channel. Kroger owns and operates dairy-producing facilities across the United States and offers customers nationwide a 10-day milk freshness guarantee.
