Kroger has released the full list of stores, distribution centers and plants it plans to divest to secure regulatory approval for the proposed merger with Albertsons, per a Bloomberg report

The report said that CEO Rodney McMullen wrote in a memo to employees on Tuesday that the companies have begun notifying staff at affected locations, and that impacted workers will become employees of C&S Wholesale Grocers after the transaction closes and will remain as Kroger and Albertsons staff until then.

Kroger agreed to buy Albertsons for almost $25 billion. The Federal Trade Commission in February sued to block the merger, alleging that the deal is anticompetitive. The FTC trial is slated for August.

The states most impacted by the divestitures include Washington with 124 stores, Arizona with 101 stores, Colorado with 91 stores, California with 63 stores and Oregon with 62.
