Kroger taps Better Health Group for senior-focused primary care at The Little Clinic

Better Health Group shared that it is partnering with Kroger Health to lead the retailer’s adoption of value-based, primary care at its in-store clinics, The Little Clinic.

Better Health Group's comprehensive MSO platform will help providers at the clinics manage the primary healthcare needs of seniors with Medicare, including those enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, the company said.

“The collaboration with Better Health Group marks Kroger’s entrance into value-based care. It also reflects Kroger Health and Better Health Group’s shared commitment to expanding access to individualized, quality care for seniors,” Better Health Group said.

Better Health Group operates in eight states and Puerto Rico,  The company manages care for more than 250,000 patients enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare ACOs, Managed Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.
