RelayHealth, McKesson Prescription Automation, CoverMyMeds, and RxCrossroads by McKesson, are coming together as one brand under the CoverMyMeds umbrella. The move was announced Tuesday in a blog post by CoverMyMeds president Nathan Mott.
“For many years, we’ve shared a powerful network, deep customer relationships and a passion for helping people live healthier lives," Mott wrote. "Now, we’re unifying the strengths of each business — the technology innovation and robust connections to providers, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma provided by RelayHealth and CoverMyMeds; RxCrossroads’ deep therapeutic and drug commercialization expertise; and McKesson Prescription Automation’s trusted pharmacy automation technology and services — to help improve care in every setting and solve some of the biggest medication access, adherence and affordability challenges patients face."
Mott noted that the unification also is part of McKesson's ongoing investment in the CoverMyMeds brand and aligns the capabilities around the patient journey to creat a cohesive experience for customers, patients and employees. He said McKesson CEO Brian Tyler has noted the under the single, cohesive go-to-market strategy, the CoverMyMeds business is positioned to accelerate its growth in 2021. cover.
