Reese’s dips animal crackers in peanut butter, milk chocolate
Reese’s is debuting a twist on a classic snack cracker.
The Hershey, Pa.-based company debuted its new Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers, which blend a nostalgic childhood snack with chocolate and peanut butter.
Featuring bite-sized animal crackers covered in peanut butter and dipped in milk chocolate, each pack contains 13 different animal shapes that range from lions to bears.
“Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers are sweet and crunchy creating the ultimate snack. They're truly something to howl about,” said Nowell Kahle, manager of snacks and grocery at The Hershey Company.
Consumers can find Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers available for purchase at retailers nationwide.
Dark & Lovely appoints actress Meagan Good as brand ambassador
A new face is joining the Dark & Lovely family.
Actress Meagan Good has been named the brand’s newest brand ambassador. News of the partnership came on the heels of Dark & Lovely’s Making Bold Moves event, which supports its philanthropic Building Beautiful Futures initiative.
“In a world where Black women are often disregarded, Dark & Lovely has always celebrated us," the actress said. "I’m honored to be partnering with this legendary brand to help embolden Black women to authentically walk in their power, dream big and celebrate who they are.”
Dark & Lovely started Building Beautiful Futures in 2022 to help bring educational and career equity to Black female college students and young professionals. In 2023, the program looks to add additional masterclasses, scholarships, mentorship opportunities and networking events, the company said.
As a brand ambassador, Good will serve as the face of the Fade Resist collection and full product range, as well as spread awareness about Building Beautiful Futures.
Albertsons announces special dividend payment date
Albertsons announced that the payment date for its previously announced $6.85 per common share special dividend, originally scheduled to be paid Nov. 7, 2022, is now going to be paid on Jan. 20, 2023 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 24, 2022.
The payment of the special dividend follows the lifting of the temporary restraining order on Jan.17, 2023, by the Supreme Court of the State of Washington. The temporary restraining order had enjoined the company from paying the special dividend.
CandyRific intros SpongeBob SquarePants candy fans
CandyRific is expanding its candy fans line with Nickelodeon by launching its new SpongeBob SquarePants candy fans.
The fans will be available for customer orders in February and shipped in time for the summer of 2023, the company said.
Stay cool this summer with the new, colorful character-themed SpongeBob SquarePants candy fans. Each fan provides a burst of fanned air when the button is pushed and comes complete with .53-oz. of assorted fruit-flavored dextrose candies.
Ben & Jerry's introduces new Oatmeal Dream Pie flavor
Fans who have long lamented the loss of Ben & Jerry’s Oatmeal Cookie Chunk have a new reason to celebrate as the Vermont-based dessert maker has unveiled its newest flavor: Oatmeal Dream Pie.
The concoction is an Oatmeal Crème Pie Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert with Gluten-Free Oatmeal Cookies - by Partake, the allergy-friendly food company - and Marshmallow Swirls. The certified vegan dessert is shipping now to appear on shelves across the country.
"Foodie fans can rejoice with this new version of our nostalgic offering," said Flavor Guru, Chris Rivard, who helped to shepherd the project with Partake. "We're thrilled to partner with high-end suppliers who provide the incredible chunks and swirls fans expect from Ben & Jerry's, and this flavor truly delivers."
Ben & Jerry's underlined the importance of supporting Black-owned businesses and women-owned businesses like Partake as part of its ongoing work to address racial justice in the U.S.

Luye Pharma receives FDA nod for Rykindo
Luye Pharma has received the Food and Drug Administration’s green light for Rykindo (risperidone) for extended-release injectable suspension for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults and as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder in adults.
Rykindo was developed by Luye Pharma on its microsphere technology platform. The drug is administered via intramuscular injection once every two weeks and delivers the active ingredient, risperidone, via long-acting and extended-release microsphere technology.
"Mental disorders including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder not only seriously affect the physical and mental health of patients, but also impose a heavy burden on their families and the society.
