Nature Valley is adding a savory twist to its Nut Crunch line of bars.

Available in three flavors — everything bagel, white cheddar and smoky BBQ — the Savory Nut Crunch line is a departure from its classic oats ‘n honey bars, the company said.

“Nature Valley is known for introducing the first mainstream granola bar to consumers, and since 1975 we’ve continued to innovate and find new ways to shake up the bars aisle,” said Ray Joncas, vice president and business unit director of bars at General Mills. “Snacking fans now have the best of both worlds with our new Savory Nut Crunch Bars as a companion to our traditional whole grain oat granola bars.”

Available in a grab-and-go convenience in a one-bar pack, it uses a proprietary binding process that removes the need for sugar binders to keep them intact, the company said. 

“Our new technology has enabled us to solve a consumer need for convenient snacks that don't require the use of syrups and sugars to bind the bars together,” said Ali Shaikh, senior brand manager of bars innovation at General Mills. “This has unlocked an opportunity for us to craft Nature Valley snack bars with 2g of sugar in surprisingly savory flavors, delivering on a whole new set of cravings.”

Nature Valley Savory Nut Crunch bars are available for purchase at grocery stores nationwide in a 5-ct. box that retails for $4.79.


Spascriptions rolls out Youth Reset collection

Spascriptions is debuting its latest product collection — Youth Reset.

Offering treatments that target eye, lip and neck skin concerns, the line features ingredients that pamper the skin and support aging concerns, the company said.

The products in the line include Eye Balm, Eye Serum, Eye Cream, Lip Set with Lip Oil and Lip Balm, and Neck & Chest Cream.

Infused with hyaluronic acid, peptides, water lily, vitamin C, rosewater, collagen, shea butter, caffeine and ginseng, Spascrption’s Youth Reset collection is available for purchase online.


Cholula enters salsa, taco seasoning category

Cholula is expanding its portfolio beyond its Mexican hot sauces by introducing two new product launches—salsas and taco seasonings.

Made using many of the same ingredients as its hot sauce, each line of salsas and seasonings contains three varieties, including the classic original flavor.

“For three generations Cholula has served as the perfect staple to bring authentic, fresh Mexican flavor to any dish,” said Valda Coryat, North America vice president of marketing for McCormick. “We’re excited to expand beyond the sauce category and into the mainstream Mexican aisle to deliver that delicious flavor and balanced heat to passionate Cholula fans in new and exciting ways. Flavor runs in the Cholula family and our salsas and taco seasoning mixes are no exception to the motherload of mouthwatering taste we bring to each and every recipe.”

The salsa line includes Cholula Original Salsa, Salsa Verde and Smoky Chipotle. On the other hand, the taco seasoning line features Cholula Original Recipe Mix, Smoky Chipotle Recipe Mix and Chili Garlic Recipe Mix.

Created with such ingredients as Mexican chiles, herbs and spices, all six new products, consumers can find Cholula’s product availability via a store locator on the company’s website.


GNC adds iced tea lemonade flavor to Beyond Raw brand

GNC is bringing summer flavors to its AMP, Total Lean and Beyond Raw brands with a new iced tea lemonade flavor. 

The company said the product is available in Beyond Raw Lit and Beyond Raw Lit AF pre-workouts. The product comes in a powder formulation. 

“With the launch of this new flavor in the Beyond Raw portfolio, we’re continuing to invest in our science-backed brands to give consumers new, great-tasting flavors,” said Kevin Maloberti, vice president of merchandising at GNC. “This drop is one of many coming to GNC this summer. We've got a lot of great product and brand innovations on the horizon and Iced Tea Lemonade is the tip of the iceberg.”

Consumers can find Beyond Raw’s new iced team lemonade products available for purchase exclusively at GNC.


Nature’s Way intros Brain Fuel supplements

Nature’s Way is debuting a brand new product—Brain Fuel.

The gummy is formulated to help support short-term memory focus and concentration for those aged 18 years and older. It also contains Cognigrape, a red grape extract, the company said.

“Brain health and mental wellness continues to be a priority for many of us,” said Andrew Hartshorn, chief marketing officer at Nature’s Way. “So often we are inspired by nature for the best solutions which is why we've introduced Brain Fuel, giving consumers a plant-derived and clinically studied ingredient in a tasty gummy supplement to support cognitive function.”

The supplement contains vitamins B6 and B12 and retails for $19.99. Brain Fuel can be found online at Kroger, Meijer, Giant and other natural food stores.


Saalt’s feminine care products hit CVS shelves

Saalt, a brand specializing in reusable and sustainable period and leak-care products, has expanded its distribution.

The brand recently shared that its products—specifically the Saalt Cup and Disc—have launched into nearly 7,000 CVS stores nationwide.

In addition, the brand also shared that it will be rolling out a new EveryWear collection, which features its highest absorbency gusset tech made with a breathable cotton body fabric.

CVS will be the first retailer to debut the EveryWear collection, and customers can find the products on the retailer’s digital and physical shelves.
