1/23/2009

DALLAS The Army & Air Force Exchange Service on Wednesday received honorable mention in the LATINA Style Magazine 50 Awards, considered to be the most respected evaluation of corporate America's career development opportunities for Hispanic women.

AAFES' Karen Stack, SVP of the military retailer's western region, will accept the award, on behalf of the Department of Defense's oldest and largest exchange service, at an awards ceremony in Washington Feb. 5.

"AAFES is proud to be recognized as a diversity leader as it mirrors the military members it serves," stated AAFES director of diversity Jeanne McDonald. "The LATINA Style award further validates AAFES' importance placed on diversity in the workforce."
