Alembic launches generic Aricept

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Alembic Pharmaceuticals announced Thursday that it had launched its generic of Aricept (donepezil) tablets. The drug is indicated to treat Alzheimer’s-related dementia. 

 

Alembic will offer the drug in 5- and 10-mg dosage strengths. This marks Alembic’s seventh product launch in 2016.
