AmerisourceBergen EVP named chairman of CEOs Against Cancer chapter of North Texas

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — The newly established North Texas chapter of CEOs Against Cancer has a new chairman in AmerisourceBergen EVP James Frary. In the volunteer position, he will focus on various issues facing working professionals across the northern half of the state. He will direct the chapter to address the impact of cancer on the workforce, including improving employee health, workplace productivity and health care costs. 

 

“Providing barrier-free access to treatments for patients and the providers who are supporting their battle against cancer is an enormous focus for associates at AmerisourceBergen and a topic that I’m personally passionate about,” Frary said. “To that end, I am excited and proud to work with the Society to empower the North Texas business community to be leaders in the fight against cancer.”

 

At AmerisourceBergen, Frary serves as president of the company’s specialty group. Other members of the north Texas chapter include Baylor Scott and White Health, Bank of Texas, Oncor, Cinemark USA and Lockheed Martin.
