A&P appoints vice chairman, chief strategy officer
MONTVALE, N.J. A&P has appointed Andreas Guldin as vice chairman and chief strategy officer. The move comes in the midst of the departure of president and CEO Eric Claus.
According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Guldin assumed the new role on Oct. 15.
Guldin became a member of the board in May 2007. From May 1, 2007 to Oct. 14, 2009, Guldin was executive managing director, strategy & corporate development for the company.
As reported earlier this week by Drug Store News, Christian Haub, executive chairman of the board for A&P, has reassumed the CEO duties, a position he held from 1998 to 2005, while the company searches for a successor.
