By Brian Berk - 03/27/2017

SEATTLE — Bartell Drugs is now offering treatments for a variety of minor medical care needs via network of certified pharmacists.

Stores offering these services include the following locations in Washington State: 5th & Olive, Issaquah, North Bend, Factoria, Broadway and Pike, Silver Lake, Redondo, Magnolia, Burien, Lower Queen Anne, Riverton Heights, and Lake Serene.

The type of care varies with patient needs, but examples include treatments for such ailments as insect stings, urinary tract infections, seasonal allergies, burns, human and animal bites, yeast infections, shingles, and more.

Fees for the service usually range between $15 and $25.

“We’re pleased to offer this convenient service to our patients,” said Christina Ree, Bartell’s clinical programs manager. “It's important that we utilize our highly skilled pharmacists to their maximum potential in today’s evolving healthcare environment. This service allows physicians more time to spend on complex cases and provides a more affordable option in which to spend healthcare dollars.”

Family-owned since 1890, Seattle-based Bartell Drugs is proud of its more than 127-year history based here in the Northwest.
