Bi-Lo launches annual flu vaccination drive

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Supermarket chain Bi-Lo has launched an annual campaign to promote flu vaccinations.



The chain offers three vaccination options, including the standard vaccination, a high-dose vaccination for elderly patients and an intradermal vaccination delivered with a microneedle that is 90% smaller than traditional needles.



"We have the flu vaccine now and can offer customers quick and easy options to receive it while they do their grocery shopping," Bi-Lo VP pharmacy John Fegan said. "With the start of school, now is the perfect time to shield your health with a flu shot."



The vaccinations are offered on a walk-in basis, and customers receiving the vaccines will receive coupon books with $15 in savings on health and wellness products such as tissues and disinfectant.
