Birds Eye launches Recipe Ready line for quick meal preparation

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Birds Eye, part of the Pinnacle Foods brand portfolio, announced on Friday a line of new pre-made, blended vegetable varieties for quick meal-time preparation.

Birds Eye Recipe Ready vegetable blends are ideal for use in stir-fry dishes, fajitas and tacos and go well with chicken, pasta, hamburgers and more, the company stated.

Birds Eye vegetables are harvested at the peak of ripeness and delivered within four hours to be flash frozen, locking in color, nutrition and taste, the company stated. This allows at-home chefs to purchase ingredient-ready, fresh frozen vegetable assortments.

Recipe Ready comes in more than 20 varieties, including Broccoli Stir Fry, Stew Blend, Classic Marsala Blend, Primavera Blend and others. To see the full list, visit BirdsEye.com/recipe-ready.

Recipe Ready is available nationwide in 8- and 16-oz. packages for a suggested retail price of $1.59 to $2.59.
