CCA elects Golinkin as president

PHILADELPHIA Web Golinkin, president and chief executive officer of RediClinic has been elected president of the Convenient Care Association, the association announced Monday.

Golinkin succeeds Hal Rosenbluth, chairman of Take Care Health Systems, who served as the CCA’s first president.

“The CCA’s main focus during the next year will be to ensure that the industry’s key constituencies understand how successful convenient care providers are at delivering easier access to high-quality, affordable healthcare to millions of Americans,” Golinkin said. “This should be welcome news at a time when consumers, third-party payers and legislators are searching for ways to increase the responsiveness and cost-effectiveness of our nation’s healthcare system.”

“While we’ve accomplished a great deal in our first year, the year ahead is a critical one for the CCA,” Rosenbluth said. “Our continued rapid growth as an industry calls for strong leadership. Web has what it takes to move us forward as an organization, and to ensure our place at the table as an integral part of healthcare reform.”

In addition, Kimberly Ann Hodgkinson, director of finance for Aurora Healthcare Ventures, was elected treasurer after serving the previous year as the association’s secretary.

The elections were held at the annual CCA meeting, Oct. 15, in Washington.
