Colvard joins GMDC staff as Member Services’ manager

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Global Market Development Center announced this week the addition of Jane Colvard to its staff as the manager of Member Services. Her responsibilities will focus on growing GMDC’s membership and conference attendance, including creating programs to recruit new members and retain existing members, GMDC said.

Prior to joining GMDC, Colvard served as the manager of Education at the American Numismatic Association, a non-profit, educational association. Originally joining the staff of the ANA as the research librarian/archivist, the responsibilities of her final position included the planning and implementation of educational programs, services and seminars designed to reach over 34,000 members.

“We are so fortunate to find an individual like Jane with a strong association and customer service background, and a true passion to serve our members as well,” added Jerry Barnes, vice president of Member Services.

“My career has always centered on providing services and programs to membership associations and I’m very excited about the opportunity of becoming a part of GMDC, an organization that is well-known for being extremely member-centric,” Colvard stated. “I look forward to working with the GMDC staff and membership and to continue to build upon this tradition of excellence.”
