WOONSOCKET, R.I. — Fortune magazine on Thursday named CVS Health one of the “World’s Most Admired” companies. CVS was honored as No. 45 on the corporate rankings list, No. 1 in the Health Care: Pharmacy and Other Services category.

Fortune’s World's Most Admired Companies list is based on company surveys and peer ratings from senior executives, directors and analysts. Ranking attributes range from innovativeness and quality of products to the retention of talented people and responsibility to the community and the environment.
On the drug store-related retail front, Walmart and Target also made the list, ranking No. 42 and No. 44, respectively.
