CVS promotes Helena Foulkes, Rob Price

11/16/2007

WOONSOCKET, R.I. As further testament that CVS Caremark is heavily focused on the integration and new offerings of the bolstered company, it has confirmed two recent promotions, including that of Helena Foulkes to senior vice president of health care.

In her new role, reporting to Chris Bodine, president of health care services division, Foulkes will oversee all clinical programs as well as the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit for seniors.

Previously, Foulkes served as senior vice president of marketing and operations services, a post she assumed earlier this year. Before that she was senior vice president marketing and advertising.

She has been with the retailer for about 14 years and, during that time, has held positions of increasing responsibility in strategic planning, visual merchandising, category management and marketing. Foulkes is credited with, among other things, developing the retailer’s successful ExtraCare loyalty card program.

In addition, Rob Price has been promoted to senior vice president of retail advertising and marketing. In this new role, Price is responsible for advertising, marketing and the ExtraCare program. Price had been vice president of advertising and marketing. He reports to Larry Merlo, president of CVS/pharmacy-Retail.
