Daily Diversion: Larry David for president?

Last week, the Internet noted that Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders speaks to “Seinfeld” co-creator and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Larry David’s impression of George Steinbrenner. As if to prove that it has its finger on the pulse, “Saturday Night Live” tapped David to play Sanders in the cold open to Saturday’s episode that parodied last week’s Democratic presidential debate, which is embedded above.

“I don’t have a super PAC. I don’t even have a backpack,” David said as Sanders. “I carry my stuff around loose in my arms like a professor between classes.”
