FLINT, Mich. — Diplomat Pharmacy’s president, Gary Kadlec, is the new board chairman of the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education, the company announced Thursday.
AFPE supports training, research and graduate education in pharmaceutival science, pharmacology and toxicology, pharmaceuticals, pharmacotherapy and medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, among others. It also funds first-year graduate school and pre-doctoral fellowships in pharmaceutical sciences and pre-doctoral fellowships in clinical pharmaceutical sciences, as well as pharmacy faculty development grants for research.
“I have been extremely impressed with the vision and leadership of AFPE," Kadlec said. “I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Chairman of Board and help us continue to make great strides in the future.”
