Duane Reade signs RedPrairie for workforce management

MILWAUKEE Technology company RedPrairie Corp. has announced that Manhattan-based pharmacy retailer Duane Reade will implement its workforce management application, a move that will better align customer traffic with employee scheduling.

Under the agreement, Duane Reade will implement RedPrairie’s workforce management application, including optimized forecasting/scheduling and time and attendance modules.

“This implementation of RedPrairie’s solution will ensure that each of our 241 store locations are appropriately staffed and equipped to best service our extremely valued customers,” stated Chuck Newsom, senior vice president of store operations at Duane Reade, which operates about 241 stores.
