Duck Tape features pop music group on new tape print

AVON, Ohio — ShurTech Brands, makers of Duck Tape, announced today a new Duck Tape print featuring the pop music group One Direction.

The company's latest print comes amidst a rebranding effort to turn the everyday household item into a high-ticket impulse buy at retailers with broad consumer appeal. As DSN recently reported, Duck Tape was featured on an episode of the fashion design show Project Runway, where contestants chose from more than 150 varieties of Duck Tape to create a clothing design using material other than fabrics.

The new One Direction print features the band's logo, as well as individual, Polaroid-style images of the band's five group members.

One Direction Duck Tape is available at retailers nationwide.
